About LaQshya Initiative
LaQshya is a national quality improvement initiative of the Government of India focused on transforming labour rooms and maternity OT services into safe, respectful, and woman-centred care environments. It strengthens systems, skills, and standards to ensure every mother and newborn receives dignified, evidence-based care during childbirth.
